Grease Spec

What is the spec for the grease to use on the chassis fittings on the 2500/3500 Durmax trucks?Thanks

Larry,

The following is a quote from my 2003 Helms Factory Service Manual:

“Chassis Lubricant GM 12377985 or equivalent or lubricant meeting requirements of NGLI #2 Category LB or GC-LB”

I’ve had good luck with AMSOIL and MOBIL-1 synthetic grease. It doesn't seperate (oil).

I use the Mobil 1 synthetic also. Seems to work well.
