On the left one small compartment, then the larger compartment in the middle. On the right is a clip like holder that probably only allows something about an inch thick to be held once the door is closed. That clip appears to be designed to hold something specific. Anyone know what it

That compartment holds a small semi-auto personal defense weapon. tongue.gif

Actually I was wondering the same thing.

Who really keeps ones "GLOVES" in there anyway??

I keep mine in the center "CONSOLE"......

But yet my radio is in the "DASH" .......

But yet all my dash comes with my "JUICE" box....

But juice is a fluid and if I spill some I keep my tissues and napkins in my "GLOVE BOX" ......

MAC

Mackin interesting point. Wonder why it hasn't been renamed many years ago to DASH COMPARTMENT

ya know i was wondering what that clip was for myself. earlier today i was looking for anything to snap into there. i guess i had the antenna wrench the wrong direction cause i tried to put it there. oh well i figgured it was just to confuse me.

and the gloves go on the floor under the driver seat.

What antenna wrench?? Where did you get it and it's for the regular radio antenna??

Never heard of any antenna wrench. Radio? On Star? I have both, and I have no wrench, nor can I find anything in the manual about it. Not sure I need an antenna wrench, but would like to understand it's purpose.

Yep, fold my insurance & registration over a couple of times. Tuck one end under one side of the clip & then the other.

Always right there nice & neat. :D :D

On the 03 models the factory included a special plastic t-handled deep well socket that is used to remove the antenna. The hex head on the antenna base is recessed so it is not easily removed with a standard wrench.

ill take a pic of this little wrench some time soon but its a little piece of orange plastic. i only used it once some reason the factory never tightens the antenna

It's for taking the antenna off to go through some car washes!!. I have one for my 2002.

I keep an tire air guage in one and an ink pen in the other (leaky end up). No, my bright ant wrench won't really fit in them.
