Has anyone found one yet? I have been emailing with no results...These trucks NEED a BETTER one..

Rancho probably makes one -- they make one for just about every truck. Trouble is, it's more like a "universal" part. Seems they use an RS5000 shock and a bunch of generic brackets, so you don't end up using the original mountings that the factory used. That's a shame too, because I agree that these trucks could use more damping (especially with 285's), but I don't want to hack anything because not one else has made a legitimate upgrade.

Rancho does not currently list one for our year trucks, at least the 2500 and 3500 series.

Saaaaay, is that actually the original mounting holes? Man, if that's the case I'm on my way to the local 4wd center right now! tongue.gif :D

BTW; How's that fumoto valve working? I've been thinking about adding that myself.

From the pic it looks like the rancho mount on the drag link end..Is that correct? I may go for it anyways or anyway it can be done..

thanks for the pics... smile.gif

JimWilson - I love the Fumoto! I have had no problems and it makes the oil change clean and easy.

As you can see from the pic, the left side mounts to the stock mount and there is a bracket I purchased for the right side. Install was easy when you use the right tool to pop off the old one! I got it (stabilizer and bracket) from 4-Wheel Parts and I had to use a tie rod or ball joint fork to break the old one loose...I had 'em both and now I don't remember which I used!

According to the Rancho website they don't have a unit to fit our trucks. Do you have part numbers for what you used???

I didn't have good luck with the 4-wheel parts web site so went by the local shop...

RAN5407 STEERING STABILIZER ($41.95)
RAN5548 CHEVY/GMC 2500HD (bracket) ($19.95)

I have been happy with it. I had a little shimmy at highway speeds and it is all but gone btwn this and getting my tires properly balanced.

Did they figure it out or have a fitment guide??? Those parts fit your truck but I wonder if they fit mine??

I am not sure. Give 'em a call and/or check out the Rancho web site...gorancho.com.
