Are Copper Battery Cable ends Available? (side post)

I wanted to make new battery cables for my truck but can't find any crimp on copper battery terminals for side post.
If no one sells them then I will probably just buy complete GM cables.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ive seen that bolt on type made of copper I believe at Pep boys but I dont think it helps any. If you build em right you dont need copper.

You might take a look through the WaytekWire web site, i doubt they have it.
I think the good eyelets are made by 1.) AMP division of Tycho Electronics, and 2.) Packard Electrical Division.
Haven't found any dealer small quantities . A shame, because all the tooling costs were recouped ages ago.
Might also try "Factory Fit" , a company in N.J. that makes new OEM wire harnesses for hot rods and restorations.
I've found some decent eyelets at West Marine, which I'm pairing with some brass washers i got from McMaster Supply. I just ordered a new positive cable from local dealer, $67 plus tax! Should've mail-ordered!
Now that i've thought about it a few minutes, i did search thoroughly {hours}on the AMP site last year for battery terminals, they only had top post...maybe try P.E.D. Apparently that's "Delphi's Packard Electric Systems Division"

If you can't find copper terminals, yo can always make some with copper pipe or tubing. Size to fit cables, flatten and drill.

So there's a selection labled 'Automotive Battery Terminals ,Sidepost'. The logo/thumbnail illustrates the terminal you want. Either it isn't one of the parts listed in the two pages, or it's one without a drawing??Close, like horseshoes...

DON'T get them from the dealer unless you want to impress someone with how much money you have. Napa has the same cable (or better) for less than 1/3 the cost of dealer.

I also downloaded their PDF catalog and they have these that look more like the delphi picture but say they only fit 6 and 8 gauge.

You might find a battery shop that has them as well as the tool to crimp the connector. They would also be found at a electrical supply house but you still need some to crimp them as just flattening one won't give the proper crimp on the wire.

It might be easier to just order some universal new ones from a autoparts store. the cable is pretty heavy compared to a car so you need a large gauge wire.

If you are looking for the crimp on type that has an eyelet, I got mine at the welding supply house, also bought my cables there, 4 gauge welding cable, pure copper with rubber coating.

About one third of the cost of those cheap plastic coated ones at the auto store. :D
