has your automatic shifted below 3ard on a hill

i just got back from a trip towing my 28 ft carrie lite fifth wheel. we had a head wind and saw more 3ard gear today than we ever have. has any one had a 2and gear down shift because they did not have enough power in 3ard? when mine goes into 3ard it has power to spare. D&G

I have had one downshift to 3rd and that was on a very long steep grade in AZ. If I had more power in 3rd I would not have known what to do with it except to help out a D***e or F**D that was having a tough time but that would only embarrass them.
