Back by popular demand! Both Chevrolet and GMC have reintroduced a 4WD 3500 series single-rear-wheel one-ton pickup truck. Go here for a quick read about GM's new pickup and learn more about its uprated capacity.

We have noticed when ordering these trucks for inventory, the LLY engine is standard on the SRW 3500 trucks
dmaxalliTech,
Any production dates on 3500 SRW trucks yet?
Buck,
Sure you can handle a truck that long??? ;)

This is probably a stupid question, but why so much interest in the SRW 3500? The load capacity has to be limited by the rear tires just like the 2500 is limited.
If you need a one ton truck, don't you need the dual tires to carry the load???
Confused... Don
O.K. I read further on the subject and it makes more sense now with the 9900 lbs capacity and taxing issues.

Access to that link appears to be restricted. Even though I'm logged in it still asks me for an ID and password. When I supply my forum credentials it won't acknowledge them. Is there something special about that area?
Same problem as Jim Wilson reported. What's the problem?
I believe that Forum username/password differs from Member username/password...

You don't seem to have any problems "whipping" it around:D :D ;)
I just saw a 3500 SRW 4x4 CC LT on our lot yesterday so they should be rolling into your local dealers very soon.

Is there something special about that area? I had the same problem. The members area requires a different username and password. MP had to e-mail me mine again because I accidentally deleted the e-mail he sent me when I joined. Just send him an e-mail and he will send it to you. BTW, thanks MP.
Same problem.
Who do I email?
More Power doesn't have an email listed.
Anyways, if an admin reads this, send the user/password to qi@qinsp.com, thanks.

Whoops- actually, Jim, the GVW of 9900lbs would be 1500lbs less than the dually.
It should be a good seller.

Actually, I'm hoping that with the 3500 srw's getting larger tires, the dealer won't balk at flashing my truck when it gets the 265's. Same truck w/overload springs and 265's, so I don't see how they can say no. The wheels on the 3500 srw are 7" wide, but I have already found a source for those wheels as a coworker has ordered the truck and I will be purchasing them from him. :D
Sure you want the SRW wheels? I'm pretty sure they only come with the painted steel wheels
I've got some Centerline and Weld wheels in mind when my SRW gets here ;)
