Overdrive lockout for 2002 Duramax

Hey guys, I am looking for info on the OD lockout for a 2002 Duramax. I found it once through the search. But I can't find it again. Any help appreciated!! Shorty :confused:

Got all my parts over the counter at dealers. There was a service bulletin on this at one time, but it`s been a couple of years back. Get all the parts # and check out prices on GMparts.com

You can find the install procedure on the Kennedy Diesel website. I posted the link below.

You can buy the connector pins mentioned in the article at "gmpartsdirect.com" or at your local dealer. I bought some split loom at the local auto parts store and the momentary closed switch at Radio Shack. Install took under an hour.

If your truck was built before approximately April, 2002, then you will need to get the software upgraded in the TCM.
