Dual Batteries

With the dual battery arrangement in my truck I'm wondering what the purpose is? Does the truck need the extra boost to turn it over? Are they wired in series or what exactly? Thanks

Murf,

The batteries are wired in parallel (pos to pos and neg to neg) to increase the 12v amp potential. This is mainly for the grid heaters during cold weather starts. smile.gif
