My 2002 D/A 4X2 has the 2 piece driveshaft. I have noticed that there a lot of replacements with the one piece. Is there any specific reason? Should I take mine in?

^..Possible (probable) launch shudder. There is an issued TSB on the problem. I went from 2 to 1 and it makes a difference. Just be sure your model is included in the TSB guidelines for qualification of replacement.

I have noticed that my truck has started making a big thud when sitting at a stop light and putting a little pressure on the fuel pedalor when putting it in park with brake pedal pressure. It almost feels like a broken motor or transmission mount.
Has anyone else experienced this and is this the reason for the change in drivelines??
Thanks.

^...I can only suggest that you read the threads that I linked to you (ubb-less), make an appointment and get the dang thing replaced (if it qualifies). 'Nuff said... :D
colorado,
Sounds like your stop light problem is the tranny programming. There are updates available from the dealer to fix that under warranty...and there have been several people on this board that have had that problem.
