Mag Hytec and Warranty

Has anybody here ever had the Stealership give you warranty hassles because you had a Mag Hytec differential cover or transmission pan? I would think this should not be an issue but with the new breed of Stealerships trying to weasel out of warranty work anyway they can, it is a concern.

Unless the aftermarket part caused or contributed to a covered failure, GM can't deny warranty coverage (and prevail).

I think you'd really have to have an anal dealer to quibble over seeing a diff cover, but if you're concerned, talk to your local service manager about it. You might also ask the cover manufacturer is they have ever had an instance where a drivetrain warranty was in jeopardy because of their cover.
