Replacement PMD

hey all, im new here but i expect to be posting quite a lot. i just got a 96 GMC sierra 1500 6.5td and i was looking at replacement PMD's.

im pretty much sold on the FSD from SSdieselsupply. has anyone had any experience with these? also, how does the #9 resistor effect power and mileage? for me the 6.5td has plenty of power and id rather have the mileage although i wouldn't mind a little extra power as long as i dont take a big mileage hit.

If you have a failing PMD, here's a couple sources you might consider - if your's is truly failing. Both sell the PMD for less than what you found. Except for the SolD aftermarket product, I'm pretty sure all PMD units have the same part number and come from the same source. The PMD cooler is something you might invest in and put it in front of the drivers side battery.
