Code 29 Glow Plug Relay Fault, Code 35, 36 and 83

I am getting a code 29, will bad glow plugs give this reading, or is this a relay, and where is the relay? It barley wants to start, and
smokes and sputters for 15-30 seconds. I also get the service engine soon light. I am also showing codes 16, 35, 36, and 83. Help
please! :confused:

Code 29 sets when the voltage on the glow plug circuit is not what the PCM expects. A failed relay or bad connections can cause it. I doubt of bad glow plugs would cause it, which is not to say the plugs are good, just that that's not the only problem. don't know about the other codes off the top of my head.

I doubt code 29 is related to 35 & 36, but

Two codes for the transmission, 16\83, two codes for the Inj Pump, 35\36, and one for the Glow Plug ckt - sounds like poor connections in the engine harness.
Starting with the battery cables, check and clean various points of connection.
Simple disconnecting\reconnecting plugs can solve most intermittents.
