Not interested in buying, but curious as to why you are selling now, after new engine. What will your replacement tow machine be?

Even with its current mods, the truck doesn't have the kind of power I need for the towing I do. Driving by the gauges has gotten old. I want to see where I've been and where I'm going. Replacement machine? Too early to say, but I'm leaning towards a Ford.

What are you towing?
I pull a 27 foot Jayco with slide weighs 8700 . I find that unless the hill is extreme I can do quite good. There are a few 6 degree pulls in Western NC that kick the butt, but other than that, the burb does pretty good, I think?

I just noticed no IC. Well others may chime in. The IC was a very nice improvement in performance
and temp control.

If I recall, Spindrift was recently stranded in Orlando with a blown engine. Once something like that happens it is hard to regain confidence in a vehicle, especially if your spouse feels unconfortable traveling in it. I have been in that position myself.

Stranded, blown engine, family along. Not good. Let us know how your new tow vehicle does.

Buzz We have a '34 Cougar TT, with a double slider. We easily approach 18,000 GVW. It's simply a driveability thing....and what James Springate said.

Yup!

I'd rather push my Chevy than even think about driving a Ford.

I was rather surprised it had taken you so long to respond. :D

Spindrift About the F the problem with driving one is you can only drive so fast with a paper bag on your head.

If youv'e got the time just buy a advertise till you sell on autotrader. Works best for me. Heck I Ebay but I don't but my big stuff on it.I don't want to get a bunch of people trying to steal my hardware & beat me up with all the "stunod" ?'s!

The price is the price so make me a serious offer.

(I guess I'm not a pro at selling) ;)
