Vibrations when 4 wheel drive engaged

There was ice on the road today so I put it into 4 wheel drive. When speeding up it starts to vibrate like a seriousely unbalanced wheel. At 30 miles pr. hour it was so bad that I put it back to 2 wheel drive again, and the vibrations went away. Have anybody had some of the same problems.

Check:
front drive shaft (u-joints and slip yoke)

both CV shafts (are they loose)

Not trying to rub it in, but have a Happy New Year

Pull the plug off the central axle disconnect and try again. If the problem is still there it's most likely the front drive shaft. If not, then the problem is likely worn CV joints. (If the boots are torn, they're real suspect)
