I recently moved to the country and have some short hill climbs. One is on loose gravel and fairly steep. I have a C3500 dually. Been looking into a Powertrax no-slip. Am I going to be throwing rocks and digging ruts just the same with 4 wheels rather than 2 with this heavy truck? Would I get $450 worth of traction or am I going to wish I still had the money yet?

It should help. 50% more traction. Also look at Detroit Locker. I think they are around $350. Do you tow alot? They will lower mileage and wear out tires a little quicker. I have a STK factory Gov-Loc which is better for towing because it starts to disengage around 25mph, and becomes an
open rear end. There were dicussions on 1 of these TDP sections. Either this section,6.5 or
members section do a search.
