to find the info on the engine heater, refer to the diesel section..there is no diesel section.

am i missing some paperwork?

When I got my 2001 2500 HD they supplied a separate Diesel supplement along with the regular owners manual. You may want to contact your dealer asap!

thxs mikey..i called the guy that sold me the truck and he said he'd steal one out of another truck for me...this sounds like GM printed one less than they needed huh? :D

If you register at the following website https://www.mygmlink.com
They have electronic copies of all the stuff that should have came with the truck. You can also set it up to email you should a recall come out and it will also track your maintainance and email you when maintainance is coming due. Also if you have service done at a gm dealership it uploads what they did to the site. Pretty neat site. I have both of my vehicles on it.
