Does the simple act of swapping rims and tires change the front end alignment? For example, going from the stock wheels to 16X8's with 4.5" of backspacing. Thanx

Good question pushpole. Our trucks have an unequal a-arm suspension. Pushing the tires out that far will increase the leverage against the torsion bar a little. I don't think it will change the camber/toe enough to hurt the tires. The guys that cranked the bars up 3 to 4 turns haven't complained about tire wear. I cranked mine up 4 turns and got by with just setting the toe. Later! Lone Eagle

No. Alignment is not a factor related to tires, but of suspension angles and directional aspects. By switching tires/rims you have not altered any of them.
