Autmatic Transfer Case Fluid

The owners manual lists Auto-Track II fluid for the automatic transfer case. What is it and is there an after market equivelent?

The manual is confusing! If you have a 2500HD or 3500 you don't have an "automatic transfer case". That transfer case is only for the half ton trucks.

Both the floor shift, and push button shift transfer cases on the 2500HD and 3500 series are manual transfer cases.

Don't use Auto-Trak II fluid!!!!

As Csimo said, do not use the Auto Trac II fluid.

The fluid required is any Dexron III rated ATF.
