This is going to sound stupid but, Where is the Passenger Compartment Air Filter located, I am wanting to change it, but haven't been able to locate it.

Check out this thread, it should answer your question. I also took deerhunters advice and washed the filter, worked good.

My truck is an early 2001 and it has only one 7/32 screw holding the "trap door" closed. So you find the trap door directly under the glove box (above pass foot area) on the right side of the hump that holds the cooling coil. The single screw is on the firewall side of the trap door, pull the scew out door swings down and comes off, I found two small filters inside, and it took a bit of pulling to get them out.
