Injectors and Warranty

I was curious as to how long pump and injector problems are covered under warranty. Is it 36,000 or 100,000 miles? Thanks

The entire fuel injection system is covered by the 5 year or 100,000 mile engine warranty. However, there is a caveat about contaminated fuel voiding the warranty.

A new bulletin was issued to US and Canadian dealers outlining what components are covered under both the 3/36 and 5/100 warranty. Some dealers were interpreting the warranty in different ways. The new bulletin should clear it up.

MAV could probably shed some light on this, because of a warranty denial that should not have been.
