Ltrainracing,

Plenty of '01 3500 pics at the links in my sig - including 19.5" Alcoa wheels.

mdrag,
I dig that look. Is there a hub that attaches for all the extra lugs or is that just a cover cap?
And, are those tires the stock height or are they taller...if taller did you reprogram the PCM?

Heartbeat Hauler,

An 8 to 10 bolt circle adapter attaches to the truck's hubs using the existing lugs. The Alcoa wheels are 10 on 285.75 mm bolt circle using 33mm hub nuts @ 450-500 lb-ft. Hub-centric mounting is maintained from the hub to adapater, and adapter to the wheel.

IIRC, the 225/70 19.5" Michelin XDE/MS are 32.6" diameter - approx 2" larger diameter than the stock Goodyears and raise the truck about 1". It is my understanding that the dealer cannot reprogram the Dmax ECM for non-OEM tire sizes to correct the speedometer, but some of the performance boxes can do this. My speedo is not corrected.

You can look at my pics too for some Alcoa hot shots.

Ltrainracing,

I bought everything except the tires from Arrowcraft.com (http://www.arrowcraft.com). Bob at Arrowcraft designed and machines the adapters and does a fantastic job. The last time I checked, Arrowcraft did not have these adapters on their website and you have to give them a call.

A few other choices:

RicksonTruck.com (http://www.ricksontruck.com)

Chromewheel.com (http://www.chromewheel.com)

SouthwestWheel.com (http://www.southwestwheel.com)

APP Wheels - sorry, the link I have doesn't work anymore

Here is a link to one of many TDP Forum discussions (http://forum.thedieselpage.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=003721#000000) on the 19.5" conversion. Try a search in either the 2500HD/3500 HD Trucks & Drivetrain or the Accessory forum - use 19.5 in the search and you will have plenty to read.

I was just looking for your pic to show a friend the other day. Good to here from ya Dragon.
Guys I never cared for dooleys til I saw and rode in this one. This truck is sweeeeet!
I got the privilage of riding shotgun during the sickest ass burn out I've ever witnessed! Ahh memories....

There was another dooley present that day, I missed the burner it laid, but heard it was weak anyway. It's another dooley that has some goodies, look around for some guy named Mac or something like that.....
