Question for Pontiac

Howard,

I am getting ready to move from my 2500 to a 3500 and my dealer can't find one anywhere in Texas. I can order a 2004 but lose the rebates. Any thoughts on where I should go next? Dealer says he has a hard time getting outof state dealers to swap because of the transport issue. I'm looking for a GMC SLT 4WD with a lot of the goodies.

Last night I saw a 4X4 3500 CC 4X4 SLT at Ernie Guzzman(not sure if I spelled that right) in Houston. Beck and Masten drove my truck in from La. so I don't see why yours can't get a truck from a neighboring state. Tell them "well I reckon I'll venture somewhere else if you don't want to sell me a truck." I bet they just want to order a 2004 from them.

Who would think you couldn't find a decent 3500 within 1000 miles!! Had three dealers looking. Found a few all decked out with conversion CRA# for $2500 to $3500 more.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered a 3500 2004 model yesterday. Got what I wanted, get the rebates if they are still there in 8 -10 weeks when she comes in or get her for $500 over invoice. That makes it similar in price to '03s with the rebates.

Howard: Do you still have any pull on ordered trucks?

I'd even pick you up at the airport if you can close a deal.
