Transmission Filter

I am about to change my spin-on filter, and even after reading previous posts, I still one question...

Does it matter what brand transmission fluid I use to replace what I lose during the change. I assume as long as it is Dexron III rated that I am ok?

Also when changing the filter, catch the excess fluid and measure how much is lost. Then just fill the new filter and add the same amount that drains when the filter is changed. IIRC, I measured about 4oz in addition to the amount that topped off the filter.

Don't forget the magnet that is stuck to the top of the old filter.
