Is there a new filter? The p/n I have used in the past is 29537268. I buy from a Freightliner dealer that is also a dealer for Allison.

I just got a couple Wix filters for the Allison. They are different than the previous Wix filters. Before, the Wix and Allison filters were made by the same manufacturer. Now, it appears Wix is making their own, and for a couple bux less than the Allison. They are every bit as robust as the Allison filter, and I trust Wix products. The part # is 57701.

Wix also has fuel filters. They are the same filter as the updated OEM's, and are manufactured by Parker/Racor. Part # is 33910.

The 29539579 is the latest GM/Allison part number.
