Would be better off using TranSynd. I got some at a truck shop for $29 a gallon. I saw on one site the Amsoil was $33 a gallon.

I am a little confused. I read somewhere here that there were products other than TranSynd that met the TES 295 requirements. Amsoil was not one of them.

On Gregs site there is a lot of talk about being held hostage--paying higher prices ($33 is more than $29 BTW), how NO other ATF than TranSynd met the TES295 and how certain testing equipment wasn't available to other producers to meet the requirement.

Don't no where you get this from but Torque Drive if bought from me is $21.50 a gallon if you buy 5 gallon or $23.65 if bought by the single gallon. The only requirement for TES295 is if its in motor home or P chassy and you have the Allison extended warranty. It has nothing to do with the GM warranty.

I used the universal amsiol transmission fluid in mine. I have cooler temps when towing.

I use Ams/Oil ATF in my truck. Ams/Oil Tech Rep told me it was a better ATF anyway. I tow a 26' travel trailer in Texas and my trans temp have never gone over 170 degrees.
