12V and Igniton wiring

Does anyone know of an easy way to get 12V and Ignition wiring for stereo equipment without having to splice any factory wiring or going to the battery directly. Maybe throught the fuse panel?

I have taken some taps from the electrical box under the dash, above the left foot (where you would plug a trailer brake harness). There are a number of plug-in slots there, and with a test light, you can determine which ones are on ign. I fused between the tap and the device I was wiring.

Be very careful that you are not trying to pull more amperage then a given CB is rated for. Some of the high end (powerful) stereo equipment pulls high amperage and if you are tied into the wrong CB or fuse you will either blow fuses or CB all the time or worse you could start an electrical fire.
