I located the shifter corrugated rubber boot, foam rubber insulator and mounting plate. I need a tip on the correct assembly order.

As far as I can make out, the corrugated boot must be the top most piece and the foam rubber insulator has a matching molding for the top of the shift tower, so it must go underneath. It's the plate I can't figure, it only has 4 holes in it, whereas the insulator and boot have six and can only be fitted one way (the insulator is marked "FRONT").

Hi,

I've been following your journey on rebuilding your military rig. What made you decide to go away from the 700R4 to the NV4500? I'm looking at bringing a couple of trucks together and I'm trying to decide 4L80E or NV4500.
