View Full Version : 2500HD/New Fifth Wheel
We picked up our new Moble Suite 12,500# fifth wheel Sat. and boy did that Duramax love it. I only traveled about 40 miles but the 1,000 mile Durmax's pick up and stopping where very, very impressive. While I am not going to down grade my last three Ford SD trucks, I will say at this point, the Chevy is a winner!

EXPSD,
What kingpin weight have you got with the Mobile Scout? I currently pull one of their trailers and really like it but would like to move up to the 5er. They (MS) are heavy on the kingpin and I don't want to overload the rear axle once we get her all loaded up? Any thoughts? Have you weighed the rear of the truck with the MS on it? Would be really interested if you haven't yet but do so later.
Enjoy,
Bob
Not sure of the pin weight, it is suppose to be around 2500#. This is our fourth SunnyBrook product. Its actualy a new product designed for full timers and is called Moble Suites by Double Tree. They all pulled well, in fact you can do 70MPH and take your hands off the steering wheel and continue to go in a straight line.
We spent a week in your town last March and realy enjoyed it.

EXPSD,
The Mobile Suites is the one I am waiting for. Is yours a 36'? Do they have a website yet?
Thanks,
Bob
Bob Thats great to hear, we have #555 and they started with #500. No they do not have a WEB site, they have been in production only about 5 months. We went to the factory in LaGrange Ind and we where realy impressed. A first class operation. Did you buy it from Camping World?
Don

2DAMAX Sharp Ford! I bet it realy moves out. Except for the wheels and tires my 36 appears stock on the outside, Washington Blue. I have a old Navy buddy that lives in Parker, Jim Hertzel.

Don,
Yes I bought mine from camping world. They had one Mobile Suite unit come in, pre sold, so I didn't even get to see it. Don't need to be up and running until June so I have some time to snoop around.
What makes the Suite unit different in your opinion?
Regards,
Bob
