Has anyone tried the Yokohama Geolander A/T+2 tires on their trucks?

I have 1200 miles on a set of 285's. Highly recommend them. :D

I have 4200 miles on mine. I like them a lot. I have the 265 75 16, the 285's didn't fit the truck with my 8" wide American Racing Wheels. Dave

HEY!!!YOU BEAT ME TO THE PUNCH! I just got on-line to post my experience with this tire. I just drove 170 miles this past weekend from PA to southern MD in heavy snow in 4WD. Trip only took 45 min. longer than going up there on dry roads. These tires worked GREAT! These are the best A/T's I've ever had. Go for it. :D

I also had BFG 285's before the Geo's. If you read some of the past tire forums you can see I hated them. They had a batch of egg shaped AT's apparently.

Myself and several of my friends are running the geolanders. All are very happy with them. Better road manners than the BFG's I had before.

Does anyone have pics of their tires? What is the load range on them? Are they loud on teh road. The Kelly's that I have right now are not what I hoped they would be (although they pull good in the mud).

I don't have any pic, however they are E rated/ 10 ply; they are very quiet on the raod dispite thier aggressive tread pattern. IMMHO I'll bet these tires will take the lead in the market beating out the BFG's, Michelin's etc. once they catch on. You can't beat the price vs. the quality and function.

My Yokohama Geo AT+2's are marked load range D, rated at 3305# at 65 psi. They have a 2 ply sidewall.

The BFG probably rides stiffer because of the 3 ply sidewall (Trigard) but the load rating is no different.

Thanks for all the info on the tires. I will be getting a set next week when things calm down around here.

When you order the Geolanders make sure to order the 10 ply "E" load rang tires if you have a 2500. The 3500 (someone correct me if I'm wrong)takes the "D" load range tire. Has a nice ride.
