I might also recommend that you keep the neutral alignment jig. If you ever need to do any trans work that requires removing the NSBU (I did!), having that jig can ease re-installation.

According to the info we received about the new LBZ and 6-speed Allison, GM has moved the NSBU to inside the cab )probably now on the steering column under the dash). This suggests to me that environmental issues were enough of a problem to warrant finding a safer place for it....
