Help needed finding used parts

I'm in the process of replacing a 4L80E with a 5 speed in a 95 2500 4X4. I would like to make it "factory" as much as possible, so I'm in search of a source for a wiring harness and maybe computer out of a similiar truck. Also, I'm wondering if a complete harness out of 96 and up would work. I would greatly appreciate any help locating possible source. Thanks in advance.

To simplify things I would stick with the computer and harness out of a 94 or 95 as they are both OBDI and the 96 and up are all OBDII.

I was already planning on performing a swap of the harness from the firewall under the dash since there will be different (I assume) connections/points for the clutch and brake pedals. If the main harness from the firewall forward has the old wiring for the tranny, that would also have to be replaced (?). Also, then I am not sure if a harness for a 94 will hook to a 95 dash. If the complete OBII system would work, that would broaden my search from just a 95 model. I have changed out a complete harness from a 94 gas to a 93 diesel. It's not as difficult as one would imagine. But I would be open to other easier suggestions. Thanks.

Chahn, Why would you change out the wireing harness & comp? Just curious. I know the 5 speed doesn't need it so wouldn't the engine run just fine with the old set up?

Chahn, what you are going to do with that 4l80E? Does it have seperate powertrain control module or is it only ecm controlling transmission too?
