Windshield replacement

My windshield needs replacement (large crack). I have gauges on the A-pillar. Does the A-Pillar cover need to be removed to replace the windshield? If so I'd rather I remove it than the glass guys.

I would say that you won't have to remove your pod. I have had many windshields replaced in the past and they never had to remove the pillar covers.

I had the windshield replaced on my '01 and it didn't require the pillar trim to be removed. The '03 looks the same.

Thanks - didn't want to do it, would have been a PITA. Was concerned because the pillar cover comes real close the the inside of the windshield.

I had the windshield replaced on my 03 and can confirm that you won't need to remove the the pillar... BTW Diamond Autoglass (http://www.diamondtriumphglass.com/) replaced mine and did an excellent job...
