Does anyone know if there is a fix for the drive shaft clunk that you get when stoping or starting. I went by the dealer and they said the only fix was to grease the slip joint and it would not last. I thought someone said that there was a new yoke that would fix the problem. If anyone knows of a bulletin about it I would appreciate the number. I am going to take it in tomorrow morning to be fixed- I hope!

Well I just got back from the dealer and they updated the tcm and ordered the boot that goes over the yoke on the drive shaft. They want it back next week to grease the yoke. They admit this is only a tempoary fix but it is all they have for now. I told them I would bring it back every time it did it again and let them do it again. Seems like an expensive grease job to me. As long as GM is paying I don't care.
