Both of my backup lights are not working on my 02 D/A. I thought the fuse would be the first thing to check but the fuse panel does not indidate which fuse is for these lights. I tried searching but had no luck. Any info would be helpful as these lights are probably part of another circuit. I can pull all the fuses to check and/or the lenses to check the bulbs but I was hoping to save some time.

Thanks in advance.

There is a "VEH B/U" fuse located in the underhood junction block/fuse panel.

The NSBU switch passes power through this fuse to the backup lights.

So, if the fuse is OK, but you're not getting any power to the fuse, it's likely the NSBU switch or a wiring issue.

More Power;

When I went through my manual and realized there was a underhood fuse box, I felt rather foolish having asked the question.

Thanks for responding without any sarcasm and for not questioning by I.Q. These trucks are all new to some of us.

The fuse looks fine and the bulbs are good so as you said, the switch or wiring.

Thanks Again

What year truck do you have? The following info from Helms 2002, page 8-315.

12V power originates at B/U Fuse 25A, (located in Fuse Block Underhood), and goes to NSBU switch. Out of the NSBU,12V
