Towing hookups

I am gonna be ordering a 04 Dmax. I am getting all the towing related opions. The Z28- Trailer light package
The V76- 5th wheel or camper plug hookup in bed.

Do these charge the battery on the trailer or do I have to wire that up?

Someone else may correct me on this, but I had to put a fuse in the fuse box under the hood. From the factory a plastic "dead" fuse was in the spot. I think it was a 40A fuse, it had a sticker that said NOT to install that fuse if you had the dual battery, but I think that was a warning for the dual battery option on a gasoline engine. No wiring involved, just adding the fuse.

I ordered my truck with the v76 and all thats there is a harness on the frame inbetween the cab and the bed. you have to install your own plug and connect the wires. Guess GM doesnt know where most people would want their plugs?

That wiring is for a camper or 5th wheel wheel plug. Worked fine for me. Later! Frank
