I did do a search and found a few posts on this subject but not much.
I am wondering how many Duramax equipped trucks have over 100,000 miles on them. Not necessarily totally trouble free but no melt downs. I'm sure most people have heard the nay sayers out there (mostly non-Duramax owners) state that the aluminum heads will never see 100,000+ miles. The few D/A I have seen with high miles seem to be running fine, a few injector problems but no catastrophic core meltdowns as we would be lead to believe.
Just kinda curious as to what one can expect for durability from the Dura max

I just turned over 102,000 on mine and the only problems I have had were, injectors and cross threaded fuel pressure regulator.

Other than that the truck has run flawless.

Oh yeh, I have been driving 1600 miles per week lately.

I sold my 3500 with 123,000 miles. One injector and some gasket problems.

Working truck here . 254,000 miles. 2 injectors,1 pump,1 ac,1 water pump,3rd set of tires,2 sets of batteries. Loaded truck 70% of the time. Only mods are, K&N air filter, Amsoil By-Pass oil filters,& extra fuel filter at aux. tank. Not too bad, I think. :D ;)

hd90rider: With that kind of mileage, and the towing you do that is pretty good. smile.gif
