The archives mention a mechanic named Woody at Jim McKay Chevrolet in Fairfax City. He's been at McKay's for at least 30 years (I worked with him there in the 1970's) and he's as good as they come. He was still there as of last summer, but you can call the dealership at (703)591-4800 to make sure.

Yep. I remember that one, just hopeing there was one closer. Yep. He still works there. I waiting on a price for the work now.

Randee- I am in Manassas and the last time I had problems, I took it to Fries Garage. Local guys here and they treat you right. They do not perform work if it does not need to be done. Woody is good, remember he works for the dealership!
