I have a 2003 3500 Ext cab D/A dually. I opted for the manual dual heater controls.
The slider controls appear to cause the heater to be on almost 85% of the travel. The A/C portion is limited to only 1/4 of an inch of the slider travel at the bottom. (i.e. very little control of A/C).
I told the GMC shop I had very little control of the A/C in hot weather, but since it was cool the day they looked at it, I received the "couldn't duplicate the problem" response.
Is it possible that the problem is the slider position and not the A/C? Could I re-position the sliders so they switch from heat to A/C closer to the mid point of their travel, instead of the 85% point?
Thanks, Don
