I have read all the posts on related vibrations. This situation is slightly different, as I have a new transfer case - it was replaced under warranty after I encountered a transmission/transfer case failure that broke hard parts in both units.
Never had a problem with the 'growl' before, but nows its very noticable up through your feet at speeds over 65mph. By 80, it feels like something will soon come apart...
I hate to go back to the dealership and bitch, because they covered the transmission/transfer case problem under warranty even though the truck had 38K miles on it, and the error was mine (overshot a rolling 4H to 2H shift, hitting N and then tried to drop back into 2H while still rolling...BANG...no 4th gear or reverse...)
What would you guys do in my shoes? I hate this noise...and drive lots of high speed highway miles...
