17 Inch Wheels on Dmax

I have an opportunity to buy a set of 17 inch alloy wheels taken off of a 2003 Hummer. The seller says they'll fit the Dmax. Does anyone know for sure whether or not these wheels will work? I'd like to have them but not until I'm certain they'll fit.

i don't think they will fit. is the hummer the original or the H2. the original had some wicked backspacing to clear the offset rearing in the hubs [the proper term i can't remember? :( ] the H2 if the bolt pattern is 8x6.5" may fit, but try before you buy is a good idea here. but 17's would look killer... when i get my next truck, it will get 18's or 20's in 325/60/18 or 325/50/20 [that is if my wallet can afford it redface.gif ]

I believe they will fit. Check the weight rating on those wheels though.

Ask him to let you mount the fronts on your truck to make sure. The bolt pattern is the same. Unsure about the backspacing.
