2500/3500 ride

anyone have any suggestions on the ride quality between 2005 2500HD and 3500 duramax 4x4? I heard the brakes are much beefier on the 3500, but dont know. any info would help. want this truck for work and commute

I have an 01 3500 LS and a '04 2500 Suburban LT both are 4x4. They ride about the same and the 3500 stops way better than the Sub in my opinion, my wife feels the same way. But, if all you are gonna do is use it to commute, I'd go with the 2500 for the mpg difference.

IMHO, the 2500 rides much better!!! I have a 3500 & was given a 2500 to drive while mine was being repaired. I believe the reason is because of the added springs on the 3500. It is a stiffer ride ,no doubt in my mind. ;)
