Any more on the hitch hole ovalization?

This was a big topic about a year ago. I only tow in warm months here in Mass. since I tow a boat so haven't had anything hooked up to the truck since last October, hence I haven't paid much attention to towing posts since then. Have most of you replaced the factory hitch by now if you have a 2001? For those of you who still have the stock hitch, how's your pin hole holding up?

3,000 miles towing 6,500 lbs and it is getting holeyer by the mile -- original hitch still on and will wait till it is really bad before I take it in -- just to make sure I get a hitch that is new stock and not the same as the one I have.

Me too -
I have registered a complaint, -- but nothing has happened yet ,,,,,,,,,,
I just towed 12k from Ma to LI NY - & every now & than could hear the pin slapping in the hole ...
Lets go GM -- Fix it!

Oops, I forgot. I got rear ended about 4 months ago, made them change out receiver. I may have "newer model". :rolleyes:
