Not all dealers will give the Buy Three Get One Free deal. Hi Dust 4X4 Inc. in Norfolk VA would not honor the add. I was told they did not have sales on special orders. Of cours they did not tell me at the time I ordered them. Was it my fault they did not have the item in stock?? They have very few of any Rancho's on hand. They have lost my business for good.

To tell you the truth, I do not hear much difference inside the cab. I did read about a guy really go into the difference he heard from inside the cab. Just think about lower EGT's

It clearly shows that the price of 4 shocks as $276.95 but the per shock price is $69.95. Now 4 x $69.95 is $279.80 so it appears that you will save a bit buying the set of 4 shocks. Wait a minute, you are supposed to buy 3 and get the 4th for free. Someting not right, so I called them. I was told that the real price is $223.35 for the 3+1 deal. $223.35 divided by 3 = $74.45 per shock or $4.50 per shock more the the price listed on the web site. I was told that there is an error on the web site. Bait and switch anyone?

Anyone else run into this with this company?

Greg, I added the four inch Flowmaster to the 3.5 inch stock system. I got some adapters and put it on myself. The setup reduced the EGT's by 100 degrees.

I now have a four inch system and have the flowmaster for sale.

Out of curiousity, what's so great about these Rancho RS9000 shocks? How are they better than the stock ones on our HD's right now? Just curious,

These shocks dampen in both the up and down motion. The stock stock only dampen in one direction. The RS9000 are adjustable.

The stock shocks on my truck were pretty bad. Normally, a suspension feels too soft or too harsh. My front suspension would transmit a lot of small road bumps (too harsh?) yet would bottom out going slowly over speed bumps. The rear suspension was very stiff and made it feel like the truck was bouncing in the front and pivoting from the rear.

The RS9000s are adjustable over a very wide range of damping with settings of 1 to 5. With the RS9000s on it, I have the front set to 4 and it rides a lot smoother. Small road bumps disappeared, yet the suspension feels supple and controlled. The rears are set on 3 and the truck just glides down the road now. Now it feels like the truck has a balanced suspension.

It takes less than a minute to manually adjust all 4 shocks for different conditions/loads. They also sell an in-cab adjusting system, but I didn't think it was worth the price to me for the convenience. I think I paid $226 for the set with tax.
