View Full Version : F350 wheels on a 3500HD

Has anyone tried putting Ford F350 wheels on a 2002 3500HD? The aluminum wheels on my Ford are pretty sweet, but not sure if they will work on there.

I can check it myself, but figured I'd ask the forum to see if someone has done this work for me.

Thanks!

If they are newer F**d wheels (like 2000 and up) they are a different bolt circle (8x170mm vs. Chevy's 8x6.5"), and are "hub centric", meaning they locate on the hubs via the center bore of the wheel, not by the tapered lugs like on a Chevy. Therefore, I would recommend against trying to make those fit a GM truck. Of course, my experience has been with the 3/4-ton stuff, perhaps the 1-tons are different and I have no clue as to what I'm talking about! ;)

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yeah, I was also wondering about hubcentricity on the GM trucks.

Oh well, maybe simulators...

Alcoa is supposed to have a set of wheels available for the 3500's this month unless it gets delayed again. I was quoted $150 per wheel a several months ago. I haven't checked the availability lately.
