Just finished greasing the zerk lube points on the chassis. I was wondering what, if anything, on the truck requires greasing besides the 11 zerks under the truck? Thanks

IIRC, there's 2 or 3 on the driveshaft, on the universals of course. Can't think of anything else. But that's with the 6.0, and not the dmax, so it may be different.

Dmaxducker,
Something was making a popping sound when my steering was at full lock and moving at slow speeds of course. I think the dealer lubed the steering stops, maybe somebody like DmaxAllitech, hope I spelled it right or another Tech can clarify. There are no zerks in my drive line, wish there were.

Pilot,
That may have been the intermediate steering shaft...a fairly common problem. Search on "steering rattle" in the 2500HD/3500 HD Trucks & Drivetrain Forum...you will find a bunch-o-info!
