Allison pan Filter

I changed my Allison spin on filter today after doing my first tow this weekend. I have read posts here about when to change the spin on, but no mention about the sump filter in the pan. At what interval do most people change the sump filter?

On another note. There have been issues with people getting the 2 piece driveshaft replaced by gm with a 1 piece back in 2001. Yet 2 years later my 2003 still has a 2 piece driveshaft? I don't have any complaints yet, its just more joints to wear out. IS there any way to lube the carrier bearing?

I don't beleve there is a service recomendation for the sump pick up filter to be changed other then at a complete over haul ...

no scheduled maint for sump filter, but we all know better then that ;)

You didnt mention what truck you have David, is it CC LB? one piece sshaft in CC SB or smaller 4x4

I guess I need to add that to my signature. My truck is a extended cab,LB, 2wd.
