warped rotors at 30,000

warped rotors at 30,000, mostly highway driving and only tow twice a year for 700 mi. has anyone else had the same trouble? will they be covered under warranty? dave p

Are you using a torque wrench on the lug nuts?

My 01 gmc hd had pitted rear rotors when i bought it used w/ 10,000 miles. They warped by 20,000. The local gmc dealer (that I did not buy truck from)replaced both rear rotors under warranty at 31,000,said they were out of spec and wanted me to have it fixed right.I payed for new gm pads and hardware and small pad install fee. Big thumbs up to BALCONI GMC in Geneseo,NY.
By the way, when checking pads make sure they are wearing even.Both of my inner pads were 95% shot and outers were like new. Obviously the calipers were not floating like they should.Fronts are wearing even and have tons of pad left.

dealer says all 4 wheels will get new rotors under warranty! the old ones are rusted. dave p :cool:
