I have an '02 2500HD crew cab that I just put the 9000's on and was wondering what settings people are using front and rear.

Set mine at 2 front and rear. But, I like a smooth ride. Figure when I start towing I'll have to reset firmer.

5 or 6 in back

Thanks for the responses. I had initially set mine at 5 front and 3 rear at empty. I think I'll let them settle in a couple of hundred miles and readjust. I think I may turn the fronts and rear up one setting.
They sure beat the heck out of the stock ones that's for sure.
5 in front and 4 in rear.
What is the exact Rancho part number for these shocks to fit the DMax ? Is there a different number for the front shocks and back shocks ?
Please advise as want to replace with these as soon as possible. How do these compare with Bilstein ?
Front 5, Rear 9, with camper on.

Give this site a call and they can tell you the part numbers.

I just purchased 4 of the Rancho RS9000X at that site for 209.00 and also the remote adjusters for 139.00. free shipping also
(now all i need is the truck! ;)
Thanks Dicko, much appreciated. Don't worry about the truck - put them on the bottom of a pogo-stick and bounce around the neighbourhood until they all get so sick of you, they will collectively buy you the new 2004 model !
Rancho rs9000x shocks:
front RS99295
rear RS99274
Thanks Mike, appreciated.
Look forward to experiencing the difference as am still on original shocks which aren't great.

hehe...funny stuff
the shocks are on sale right now, where you pretty much buy 3, get one free.
I had the rancho's on a blazer years ago, and liked them very much..good for street and off road.
but think the 9k's are more for street..which my new truck will be.
