Differential Cover

I would like to replace my Rear Diff. cover with a Mag-Hytec. I own a 3500 D/A 4X4. Is the right cover for a GMC14-10.5 or GMC 14-9.5 or does anyone know the right part number and where to buy it.

The cover for the 2500HD and 3500 is Mag-Hytec’s GM 14-11.5.

It is an easy install and a breeze to check fluid levels.

How much of a temp drop are the Mag-Hytech covers able to provide? I know mine gets fairly hot when I tow anything.

I don't think anyone can give you a difinitive answer on the temperature difference. Usually the temperature sensor is added afer the installation of the Mag-Hytec. I have not heard of anyone adding a temperature sensor to the stock cover. It would be nice to know if you needed extra justification for the purchase.
