Okay, now I'm thinking that instead of getting a new vehicle ($35,000), I may just replace the engine (about $10,000). However, what do I need to know about replacing the engine?
I've been looking at two of DP's advertisers (in Canada), www.dieselservices.com (http://www.dieselservices.com) and www.dieselautoservices.com (http://www.dieselautoservices.com) . I get confused with core prices, are their engines complete drop ins?
What about shipping and installing it? Can a GM dealership put the engine in properly, or will they just screw something up? How many labour hours should I expect to pay to have it put in? Any information would greatly help me make my decision.

P.S. had anyone bought an engine from the above mentioned advertisers?
